GENITORTURERS Featured On 'Vampire' Videogame
November 11, 2004Florida-based "shock-rock" band GENITORTURERS will be featured on the new videogame "Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines", set for release November 16. The highly anticipated game release, which includes tracks by MINISTRY, LACUNA COIL and DANIEL ASH, will also be released as a very limited-edition CD made available to those who purchase the game through Best Buy.
Activision and Troika Games recently announced the details for the soundtrack to the upcoming "Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines". The soundtrack music will complement the game's setting, which depicts a dark, underground society that lies just beneath the surface of modern L.A.
"Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines" soundtrack track listing:
MINISTRY – "Bloodlines"
TIAMAT - "Cain"
GENITORTURERS - "Lecher Bitch"
AERIAL - "Pound"
CHIASM - "Isolated"
DANIEL ASH - "Come Alive"
DARLING VIOLETTA - "Smaller God"
DIE MY DARLING - "Needles Eye"
LACUNA COIL - "Swamped"
"Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines" is based off the infamous White Wolf role playing universe. Interestingly, the game does not focus on the latest storyline, that of the "Year of Fire", or of the upcoming storyline, "Vampire: The Requiem". Instead, the game focuses on the older, better known story arc known as "Vampire: The Masquerade". This First-Person RPG is yet to be rated (but expect M for mature).
To wrap up the band's fall tour, GENITORTURERS are set to headline two upcoming concert events on Thanksgiving weekend: Nov. 26 in Ft Lauderdale, FL at Culture Room and Nov. 27 at Masquerade in Ybor City/Tampa, which will also include a full-scale video shoot for the band's 2005 DVD release.
